Arrest warrant issued against four sugar mills operators

KATHMANDU: Police have issued arrest warrants against four sugar mills operators for failing to pay the sugarcane farmers, who are agitating in Kathmandu.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that the concerned district police have issued arrest warrants against operators of Annapurna Sugar Mill, Indira Sugar Mill, Lumbini Sugar Mill and Shree Ram Sugar Mill.

The Home Ministry had on Tuesday decided to take action against the operators of the mills not paying money to the farmers.
