NCP lawmakers reach Shital Niwas demanding special session of Federal Parliament

KATHMANDU: Some lawmakers of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have reached Shital Niwas calling for a special session of the Federal Parliament.

NCP lawmakers including Bhim Rawal, Pampha Bhusal reached the Office of President to hand over a memorandum to the President.

However, they have not been able to hand over the memorandum. “We have been awaiting Hari Paudel, the secretary of the Office of the President, to hand over the letter but in vain. His mobile is also switched off,” said a lawmaker.

The lawmakers who reached Baluwatar have said their memorandum has been denied intentionally.

Besides, this surly move had “saddened and angered” NCP leaders, particularly NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and camp, which demanded immediate withdrawal of the ordinance.
