Province 1 records 270 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



BIRATNAGAR: A total of 270 persons tested positive for coronavirus infection in Province 1 in the past 24 hours.

Of the total 588 RT-PCR tests, a total of 95 women and 175 men tested positive for the virus, according to the Social Development Ministry.

With this, the number of coronavirus infected people reached 24,020 in the Province. A total of 197 coronavirus infected people were discharged after the recovery.

Likewise, the total number of people discharged after recovery reached 18,128 in the Province, officials said. So far, 197,093 RT-PCR tests have been conducted in Province 1.
