All services except essential suspended in Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: All the services other than essential have been suspended in Lalitpur citing the high risk of the coronavirus infection.

The District Administration Office, Lalitpur, issued a notice on Friday stating services other than essentials have been suspended from Sunday until further notice.

Assistant Chief District Officer Lalit Kumar Basnet stated that the services have been stalled due to an alarming increase in coronavirus cases in Kathmandu Valley.

He said that the decision to that was taken following discussions and consultations with the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, stakeholders, health experts, and security agencies.
