Over 500 active COVID-19 cases in 11 districts

KATHMANDU: With the increase in coronavirus cases, 11 districts have got more than 500 active cases until Friday.

According to Prof. Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts of Kathmandu valley 11 districts in the country have seen more than 500 active cases of coronavirus today.

Dr. Gautam informed that Morang, Sunsari, Makwanpur, Surkhet, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Dang, Banke, and Rupandehi also have got more than 500 active patients of coronavirus pandemic.

In the meantime, 4,392 people have been added to the coronavirus case tally today. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 126,137 now.

The Ministry has informed that there are 37,382 active cases in the country.
