55 includng 2-yr-old minor test positive for COVID-19 in Chitwan

CHITWAN: As many as 55 people including a two-year-old minor boy have been infected with the virus in Chitwan district.

Out of 305 swab samples tested at the laboratory of Bhatarpur Hospital, the reports of 55 people came out to be positive.

Among those infected, 51 are from Chitwan while the remainders are from Palpa (3) and Rupandehi.

According to a press note issued by  the hospital, nine males including a two-year-old minor and eight females have been diagnosed with the virus in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Similarly, 11 males and nine females from Rapti municipality, four males and four females from Khairahani, one male from Ratnanagar and two males and three females  from Kalika have tested positive for coronavirus, informed Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief of COVID-19 laboratory.
