BEIJING: The world has now realized that Beijing used the global war on terror post 9/11 attacks in a bid to carry out the elimination of the ethnic clan as it continues to commit crimes against the Uyghurs.

The irony of all is that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and several other Muslim-majority countries have been displaying absolutely no interest in favor of the Uyghur Muslims.

Now that is high time that Islamic countries, and Muslim brothers and sisters, woke up before they also become enslaved as Uyghurs in China.

China’s Uyghurs today can be a picture of the future for other Muslims as China is waging war on Islam to announce to the world that they are re-writing the Holy Qur’an.

A report compiled by the Campaign For Uyghurs named “China’s Genocide in East Turkistan” – referred to as the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region by the Chinese government, it has been said how the condition of genocide as defined by the UN is being met by Beijing’s actions towards the Uyghurs.

There has to be a “greater recognition” of the need to term these atrocities as what they are: Genocide.

The report also says numerous case studies of Uyghurs being forced out of their homes. They are also thrown into concentration camps, it said.

Children and women have been the targets of the Chinese authorities in a bid to bring down the Uyghur population in the country. Likewise, women are also subjected to forced sterilizations.

Media reports also said that the Communist Party cadres are appointed to live inside of the Uyghur settlements under a “pair up family” program to supervise the family.

For several of the women, whose husbands are in prisons or concentration camps, these cadres make them subject to sexual abuse, as majority of these Chinese men have been photographed and filmed sharing their beds.

Reports say over 500,000 Uyghur children are sent to state-run orphanages where they are made to forget their habits, religion, identities, and even their language.

Meanwhile, the homes vacated by Uyghur community are given to Han Chinese from other parts of the country.

The United Nations, therefore, should set up an independent commission to probe the atrocities against the Uyghurs in China.

There are other actions to be taken as China continues to push the limits of the atrocities it can get away with.

The nations of the world should defeat a common enemy, and the worldview of the Chinese regime justifying the use of concentration camps and slavery, and even rewarded behavior, by hosting the 2022 Olympic Winter games.

China can even buy the corrupt hearts of men. Chinese authorities may even threaten, or punish, or may also smear the names and remove earthly possessions, but they will never succeed in silencing the community.
