Nepal unchanged in latest FIFA rankings



KATHMANDU: Nepal continues to remain in the 99th position in the latest football rankings released by FIFA for women’s football.

The FIFA rankings remain the same as no international match has taken place due to the impact of the coronavirus as
of late.

The ranking released by the world football federation remains the same for the past five months. Among the Asia countries, Nepal is in the 21st position.

Likewise, Nepal is in the second position among the South Asian countries.

South Asian countries India is in the 55th, Bangladesh in 134th, Sri Lanka in 140th, the Maldives in 142nd and Bhutan in the 154th position.

The world ranking is led by the USA followed by Germany, France and the Netherlands in the second, third and fourth positions respectively.
