56 new cases in Dang, Ghorahi-4 sealed off



DANG: A total of 56 new coronavirus cases were reported in the district on Tuesday in the highest single-day spike.

A PCR test conducted at Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Dang on Tuesday confirmed coronavirus positive in 56 people of Dang. Of those infected, 46 are men and 10 are women.

Similarly, the infection has been found in one person of Salyan’s Kumakh Rural Municipality.

A large number of cases have been found in Bangalachuli Rural Municipality and Ghorahi sub-metropolitan.

Ghorahi Sub-metropolis-4 has been ‘sealed’ after the sudden increase in coronavirus infection.

According to the sub-metropolis, all the infected have come from India and are in quarantine.
