KANCHANPUR: An 11-month-old child suffering from coronavirus has been discharged from the Mahakali Hospital after recovery.

Sushank Sunar, from Shuklaphanta municipality-11 of Kanchanpur, had been kept in isolation ward of the hospital for 14 days, according to hospital’s officiating medical superintendent Dr Hari Kumar Shrestha.

Dr Shrestha stated that the boy would be kept in home isolation for a week.

He said the child’s parents have been given all safety information that have to be followed during home isolation.

President of the Hospital management committee Krishna Dutta Joshi had given a farewell to the child and his mother. Thirty people suffering from coronavirus are receiving treatment at the hospital at present.
