KATHMANDU: The government has announced to construct hospitals with up to 15 beds at each local level.

Presenting the government’s policy and program in the Parliament, President Bidya Devi Bhandari said that the budget would be allocated for the construction of 15-bed hospitals at each local unit.

Similarly, the district hospitals at the province level will be made 25 to 50 beds and the zonal hospital will be upgraded to a 200-bed general hospital.
