Coronavirus death toll climbs to 31,368 in Italy



KATHMANDU: Italy has reported 262 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 31,368 so far.

The number of infection cases in the country has reached 223, 096 after 992 new cases were reported.

Currently, 76,440 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 855 are critical. Meanwhile, 115,288 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 303,030 and infecting 4,520,092  people as of Friday morning.
