Coronavirus infection cases reach nearly 82,000 in India



KATHMANDU: India has reported 2, 648 deaths after 98 died in the last 24 hours. With 3,942 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 81, 997 as of Friday morning.

Currently, 51, 379 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 27, 969 have returned home after recovery. The India government has performed tests on 1,947,041 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 303,030 and infecting 4,520,092  people as of Friday morning.
