All residents of Sun City Block A test negative for coronavirus

KATHMANDU: All 298 persons residing in A Block at the Pepsi Cola-based Sun City Apartments in Kathmandu have tested negative in the rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) carried out on Wednesday.

Among those are two domestic helpers of the infected family that has returned from London on March 18. However, the health workers have collected the swab of two domestic helpers for the PCR test for confirmation of the RDT.

The test results of all persons staying at the block have come negative on Wednesday.

The RDT of all the persons residing in the Sun City Apartments had begun today after two London-returnees were confirmed to have been infected on Tuesday.

The two infected are currently in the Patan Hospital isolation ward.
