Four Nepalis held while buying veggies in Malaysia



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four Nepali migrant workers on the charge of defying lockdown in Malaysia.

They were arrested while they were buying vegetables at Johor Bahru on Tuesday evening.

The arrested are Govinda Chaudhary of Nawalparasi, Umesh Kumar Chaudhary of Morang and Sushil Urau of Jhapa and Ramesh Rana of Kanchanpur.

According to Abhishek Karki, a friend of those arrested, police might have arrested them since they were going out in a large number at a time.

The mobile phones of all the four arrested have been switched off. They do a housekeeping job at a school, said Karki.
