State 1: 641 people test negative for coronavirus

BIRATNAGAR: A total of 641 people have tested negative for coronavirus in State-1 so far.

Out of the 251 throat swab samples collected from the suspected coronavirus cases, 239 samples have tested negative as per the PCR test.

Reports of 12 people are awaited, according to the Information Desk at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.

All 402 throat swab samples have tested negative under the rapid diagnostic test (RDT), it said.

Out of this, the lab report of 20 samples is awaited.

Five hundred and thirty eight people, including 49 women, have been kept in quarantine facilities in the state. Fifty three people have returned home from quarantine.
