Spain registers 18, 255 deaths, 174, 060 infection cases



KATHMANDU:  Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 174, 060 after the United States of America (USA). According to Worldometer, 3, 961 people were infected and 499 died in a single day.

A total of 18, 255 people have died due to the novel virus as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 88, 301 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7, 371 are critical. Meanwhile, 67, 504 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 126, 518 and infecting 1,995,205 people as of Wednesday morning.
