Nepali girl injured in Brisbane knife attack

KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old Nepali girl has been injured in a knife attack by an unidentified man in Brisbane, Australia on Friday night.

She has sustained a deep cut below her waist in the attack.

Police took her to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where she received seven stitches for her wound and was discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning.

The girl had arrived in Australia some 1.5 years ago.
