CIAA nabs engineer with Rs 75,000 bribe

SINDHULI: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Assistant Manager of Electricity Distribution Center, Sindhuli Sher Bahadur Sunar with Rs 75,000 in bribe.

The anti-graft body on Friday nabbed Engineer Sunar with the bribe taken from the serve seeker for approving the completion of the office building construction.

Sunar had sent taxi driver of the office Tek Bahadur Khadka to receive the bribe. The CIAA said they are investigating the case after taking them under control.
