Rain, snowfall forecast until Friday

KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast snowfall and rain from Wednesday night.

According to Barun Paudel, a meteorologist, westerly wind will cause cloudy weather with chances of rain and snowfall throughout the country.

“Westerly wind will enter into Nepal from Wednesday night. It will cause rain and snowfall in high-hilly and mountainous regions for Thursday and Friday,” said Paudel.

Heavy rain and snowfall are likely in a few places in Tarai, and hills of the central and western regions on Thursday.

Weather will clear from Saturday, said Paudel.
