JUMLA: Patarasi rural municipality in the district has pledged scholarships to MBBS students under the higher study scholarship program.
Patarasi rural municipality among eight local governments here is making investment to produce competent human resource in medical sector.
Rural municipality chair Laximan Bohora shared the local government would also offer scholarships in technical education.
Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality Tek Bahadur Budthapa said Rs 500,000 has been appropriated for higher education and Rs 300,000 has been set aside for public service preparation class in the current fiscal year.
The rural municipality source has said the operational procedure has been already prepared to run the scholarship distribution program.
