Bringing ordinance in ‘unexpected manner’ wrong: NCP Spokesperson Shrestha



KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayankaji Shrestha has said that it was wrong for the government to bring an ordinance to amend the Constitutional Council Act in an ‘unexpected manner’.

Commenting on social media, Spokesperson Shrestha said that it was wrong to bring the ordinance in an unexpected manner while the party’s Standing Committee meeting was underway.

He said the ordinance should be withdrawn.
