Cabinet meeting underway at Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: A Cabinet meeting is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting which was originally scheduled for 10 am started at around 12 noon, according to Prime Minister KP Oli’s Communications Expert Ram Sharan Bajgain.

According to Bajgain, this is a regular meeting. The meeting is expected to dwell on contemporary issues.

The Cabinet meeting had been adjourned for today after it did not take place on Monday.

Earlier, the Constitutional Council (CC) meeting called at Baluwatar this morning was postponed. It was postponed for 5 pm today after Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota abstained from the meeting.

The CC meeting called for Sunday had been postponed for today morning due to lack of quorum.
