28,449 COVID-19 infected in home isolation

KATHMANDU: Out of 35,125 active COVID-19 cases, 28,449 people are in home isolation.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,655 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 860 in Province 2, 18,481 in Bagmati, 1,895 in Gandaki, 2,203 in Lumbini, 270 in Karnali, and 1,085 in Sudurpaschim Province.

Meanwhile, 1,477 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 209,776 with fresh cases as of Sunday afternoon.

A total of 2,798 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 173,430 in the country.

Nepal currently has 35,125 active cases.

Likewise, 1,021 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

As many as six people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,221, the Ministry confirmed.
