Dharan records one more death linked with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: A woman has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

The deceased has been identified as a 25-year-old woman from Jhapa district, according to Dr. Ashish Shrestha, deputy spokesperson of the hospital.

The patient, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, passed away on Saturday night, said the hospital.

With this, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 100.
