Comedian Manoj Gajurel discharged from hospital



KATHMANDU: Celebrated comedian Manoj Gajurel, who was undergoing treatment for COVID-19, has been discharged.

Posting a message on social networking sites on Sunday morning, Gajurel said he has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for 11 days.

“I have retuned home after receiving treatment for 11 days. All the reports of COVID-19 have come out positive.  I will  return to work after some rest,” he said in the message.

Gajurel had tested positive for COVID-19 on October 26.  He had been self-isolating since he tested positive for the virus.

He was hospitalized to Balambu-based Armed Police Force Hospital on Wednesday after his condition deteriorated. He was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Meanwhile, he thanked all his well wishers, nurses and doctors of the Armed Police Force Hospital involved in his treatment and urged one and all to take precaution from the COVID-19.
