Train-hit claims Nepali girl in America 



NEW YORK:  A Nepali girl has died after being hit by a train in the United States of America.

The deceased has been identified as Paru Shrestha alias Jina  of Sindhupalchowk, who was currently staying in New York, international media reported.

The train struck her at Woodside on the Long Island Rail Road in New York City on Tuesday morning.

Shrestha died on the spot, said local authorities.

Her funeral rites will be performed on Saturday, according to her family sources.
