Hospitals directed to provide emergency services to COVID-19 patients in home isolation



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has directed all the hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley to provide emergency services to the COVID-19 infected persons in home isolation.

Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, said that there was a public complaint that the infected people in home and hotel isolation were deprived of emergency services.

The ministry has asked Teku Hospital, Patan Hospital, TU Teaching Hospital, Bhaktapur Hospital and all other hospitals to provide emergency services.

Besides, the ministry has requested all hospitals to treat non-COVID-19 patients with proper management.
