New 25 COVID-19 cases in Gandaki Pradesh, tally hits 1,228



KASKI:  New 25 coronavirus cases were reported in Gandaki Pradesh on Wednesday morning.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, 11 newly infected are from Nawaparasi East, nine from Myagdi, three from Tanahun and one each from Gorkha and Kaski.

The new cases were confirmed during tests at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara and Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan.

Preparations are underway to keep them in isolations of respective districts, according to a press release issued by the Ministry.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 1,228 in Gandaki Pradesh.
