MFD predicts fair weather for next three days



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said the weather is gradually improving since Wednesday.

The monsoon which gained momentum since last Thursday started weakening since Tuesday.

With the low pressure weather system located near the tarai region, the weather is likely to improve in the coming days, said Ganga Nagarkoti, a meteorologist.

The weather will remain fair for the next three days, according to Nagarkoti.

The downpour that started since last Thursday and continued until Monday has taken a heavy toll on the human lives and property.

A total of 100 people have died and 43 have gone missing since the monsoon began in Nepal on June 12.
