Four bills tabled in NA meeting

KATHMANDU: Altogether four bills have been tabled in today’s meeting of the National Assembly (NA).

NA Secretary Rajendra Phuyal presented bills such as the ‘Economic Bill-2077 BS’, the ‘Raising National Debt Bill-2077 BS’, the ‘ Loan and Guarantee (23rd amendment) Bill-2077 BS’ and the ‘Bill Related to Replace the Ordinance Brought to Retain Existing Provisions in Nepal Act by Abrogating Some Ordinances-2077 BS.’

Currently, NA meeting is deliberating on various 11 ministries’ Appropriation Bill under the Appropriation Bill 2077.
Today the NA members will deliberate on the Appropriation Bill under the Ministry of Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.

The other ministries on which deliberation will take place today are the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology among others, according to federal parliament’s secretary-general Dr Bharatraj Gautam.
