Five more BOPs set up in Kailali



ATTARIYA:  Five more border outposts (BOP) have been set up in Kailali district. They are at Bangarakatan, Jugeda, Khonpur, Hitmatpur and Sri Lanka Tapu.

With this, the number of BOP has reached nine in the district, said battalion-34 headquarters of the Armed Police Force. The district shares 101-km open border with India. The Armed Police Force has been mobilized for border security during the lockdown.

Information to this was shared by battalion headquarters chief, Kamal Prasad Timalsina. It is believed that the establishment of BOPs would help curb border crimes, thereby boosting border security.
