Two arrested with 100 kg marijuana

DHADING: Police have arrested two persons in possession of 100 kilograms of marijuana from ward no. 6 of Gajuri rural municipality in the district.

The duo was arrested today on the way to the market, according to DSP at the District Police Office, Rupak Khadka.

Those arrested are Tek Bahadur Tamang,37, and Bikash Tamang,26, of Gajuri-2. Two motorcycles used to ferry the contraband have also been impounded by police.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
