UK reports 33, 186 deaths, 229, 705 infection cases



KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) from Coronavirus pandemic has reached 33, 186 after 494 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, with 3, 242 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 229, 705 as of Thursday morning.

Currently, 196, 175 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 2,094,209 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 297,694 and infecting 4,424,150  people as of Thursday morning.
