RUPANDEHI: Ten people, including nine of a single family, have been infected with Coronavirus in Gaidahawa rural municipality-2, Jogada in Rupandehi district.
According to Chiranjivi Ghimire, Chief Administrative Officer of Gaidahawa rural municipality, among those infected are six men, one woman, two minors (4-year-old, 10-year-old) and one man from a separate family.
They had sneaked into Nepal from Mumbai of India a week ago.
They had been kept in quarantine at Jogada Secondary School and they were diagnosed with the novel virus after their swab reports came out to be positive.
Their health condition is said to be normal.
The number of infection cases has reached 28 after 12 new cases were reported on Wednesday, according to the District Health Office, Rupandehi.
