55 Nepalis in Malaysia test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: A total of 55 Nepalis in Malaysia have tested positive for COVID-19 so far.

According to Hari Bhattarai, Chairman of Non-Residents Nepali Association Malaysia, 55 Nepalis working in various parts of Malaysia have diagnosed positive for the virus.

However, 3 Nepalis have already been recovered.

NRNA is supporting Nepalis with the ‘relief package’ after they have been facing problems due to the fear of the virus.

Similarly, NRNA is working to rescue stranded Nepali migrant workers and attempting to send the Nepalis back of those whose visas have been expired.
