KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumsher Rana has asked the government to immediately prevent the inflow of individuals coming into Nepal from India in a clandestine manner.

In an attempt to control the spread of coronavirus, entry of people to Nepal from India should be prevented through effective mobilization of security bodies, Rana wrote in his Twitter post.

Stating that people are entering Nepal from farmlands and forests during the lockdown from the bordering districts of Sudurpaschim, Chairman Rana has suggested that the government should up its surveillance in those sites.

Asking the government for sensitivities and precautions against the COVID-19, the RPP Chairman has added that details should be kept about the number of people coming home from India during the period and to keep them under quarantine.
