Rapid tests carried out on 885 persons in Province 5

BUTWAL: Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RTDs) are being carried out on people living in quarantine in Province 5.

According to Province 5 Department of Health Services, rapid tests have been already performed on 885 people quarantined in 12 districts.

Reports of all the samples came negative, it stated.

Some 2,600 had been living in quarantines in the province and 1,842 are still living in quarantines.

It is said that some 100,000 people in the province have recently returned from abroad. Of them, over 80 percent came back from India.
