One dies in tractor fall in Nawalpur

NAWALPUR: A labor who had gone to steal sand at night has died falling off the tractor Monday night.

Pramendra Chaudhary 26, from Binayee-Triveni Rural Municipality who had got badly injured falling off the tractor that was stealing the sand from Binayee river late Monday night died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital on Tuesday.

According to DSP Mohan Kumar Khan of Nawalpur District Police Office, Lu.3 9183 tractor had gone for sand theft skipping lockdown order issued in the locality.  After accident Chaudhary was rushed to Bharatpur Hospital Chitwan for treatment where he was declared dead by the doctor.

DSP Khan said that the police have taken tractor driver custody and the investigation was still going on. The Tractor is also under police control.

Taking advantage of the thinner presence of police, the smugglers are found emptying the river-based materials more rapidly.
