SSP Saurav Rana released on general date



SUNSARI: SSP Saurav Shumsher Rana alleged of sexual abuse has been released on a general date on Friday.

District Attorney Office released him this evening after concluding that there is no need to file a case against him.

Rana had surrendered before the police.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had suspended SSP Rana as soon as the news about his sexual abuse was made public.

A day after Rana’s suspension, the victim had filed a complaint against Rana at the Sunsari Police.
