14-member squad announced for ACC Eastern Region T20



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Friday announced a 14-member team led by Skipper Gyanendra Malla for the ACC Eastern Region T20 Cricket Tournament.

The team members are Captain Malla, Vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee, Binod Bhandari, Aarif Sheikh, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Abinash Bohara, Kushal Malla, Sushan Bhari, Pawan Shraff, Sandeep Jora, Kishor Mahato and Bhuwan Karki.

Middle-order batsman Sharad Veswakar has been given rest after he sustained injuries in the recently-concluded ICC World Cup League 2.

Kishor Mahato has been included in the national team for the first time while Bhuwan Karki has made reentry to the squad.

The competition will be held from February 29 to March 6 in Thailand.
