Parliamentary committees bar journalists from reporting



KATHMANDU: Two parliamentary committees have barred journalists from attending their meetings today.

The Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, and the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee did not allow journalists from reporting the meetings saying that they have something important to discuss.

Sources said that the State Affairs Committee was prepared to discuss the report of corruption in the Nepal Army (NA).

Similarly, the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee was scheduled to discuss the inter-country energy summit.
