Jeep-hit kills policeman in Sanga

SANGA: An Assistant Sub Inspector of Police died in course of duty after being hit by a jeep on Friday.

According to police, ASI Tej Bahadur Gurung deployed at Police Post, Sanga died after he was hit by the jeep, Ba 19 Cha 1323, heading to Banepa from Kathmandu.

Gurung was a permanent resident of Triveni-8 in Nawalparasi district.

Police said they have arrested the jeep driver and impounded the vehicle.
