Nepal Build Tech Expo to start on Friday



KATHMANDU: The international-level ‘Nepal Build Tech Expo, 2020′ is being held in Bhaktapur from the coming Friday to Sunday.

This is the first of its kind expo to be in the country, which is being organized by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructures and Transport and other organizations.

Chairman of Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal Rabi Singh said that the expo would be an opportune platform to all interested in the construction sector adding that it would showcase the latest equipment coming in the world market.

Construction materials, goods for interior design, furniture and technology-related goods would be kept in more than 160 stalls in the three-day fair.

Meanwhile, the 21st general assembly of the Federation is being organized at Sallaghari of Bhaktapur on January 17-18.

Over 1,500 entrepreneurs from across the country would attend the general assembly which would discuss the ninth amendment of the Public Procurement Regulations and other issues, Federation’s General Secretary Roshan Dahal said.
