America’s COVID-19 cases cross 16.7 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 16,727,412 in the United States of America after 178,046 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 6,706,426 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 9,714,557 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 306,429 with 1,347 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,618,437 and infected 72,617,263 globally until the filing of this news.
