Lawmaker Sanu Shiva Pahadi passes away



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party lawmaker Sanu Shiva Pahadi has passed away.

According to her family sources, she died at 8:30 am on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at the Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal.

Her kidney was transplanted. She was suffering from kidney failure since last seven years.

She was recently hospitalized after suffering from heart problem.

Pahadi, who is also a central member of the People’s Cultural Federation, has sung more than 25 popular songs.

She is survived with a son and a daughter.
