Injured cricketer Bhandari airlifted to Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Member of the National Cricket Team Lalit Bhandari has been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment.

He was brought to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj Medical College on a chopper and admitted to Grande Hospital on Monday evening.

Member of National cricket team, Bhandari and Karan Thagunna had met with an accident at Jhalari in Kanchanpur on Sunday evening when a truck hit the motorcycle the cricketers were riding.

He was taken to Nepalgunj Medical college from the Dhangadhi-based Nisarga Hospital.

A truck — Se 1 Kha 1324 — heading toward Mahendranagar from Dhangadhi hit the motorcycle (Ma 2 Pa 4705) the cricketers were riding.

His CT scan report is said to be normal.
