Gandaki Province adds four cases to COVID-19 tally



POKHARA: The Health Directorate Gandaki Province has said that total coronavirus cases in the province have crossed 1,200-mark with the confirmation of four new cases on Tuesday evening.

Two men from Pokhara and two men from Nawalpur have been reported to have coronavirus.

Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma, Director of the directorate, said in a statement that preparations are being made to take them to the isolation centers of the concerned district.

The swabs of those from Pokhara were tested at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, Pokhara and the swabs of infected people of Nawalpur were tested at the Public Health Laboratory in Hetauda.

Meanwhile, one COVID-19 patient from Syangja and five from Kaski have returned home after treatment today.
