PM Oli should self-criticize for his remarks on Ayodhya: NCP Vice Chair Gautam



KATHMANDU: Vice Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bam Dev Gautam has asked Prime Minister KP Oli to take back his remarks on Ayodhya that he made on Monday.

Gautam has urged PM Oli to self-criticize for his remarks and take back his statement, which he said has stirred controversy in Nepal and India.

Posting his views on social media, Gautam said PM Oli had raised the issue some two years back.

“I had then suggested him to refrain from making such statements with concrete evidences,” Gautam has said.

PM Oli had on Monday alleged India of encroaching on cultural facts claiming that Ayodhya, in fact, in Nepal’s southern plains.
