Kathmandu confirms two coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Two more people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus virus in Kathmandu in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health, one each from Kathmandu tested positive in tests carried out at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, Teku and TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Nepal reported 116 new cases in the past 24 hours, Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said during a regular press briefing on Tuesday.

Nepal COVID-19 tally stands at 17,061.
